The 49th National and 10th International PAFTE Convention (2nd Webinar) were organised by the Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators (PAFTE) on 9 and 10 October 2020 with the theme "The Promise of Social Emotional Learning Amidst COVID-19 Pandemic".
Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, Founder and Principal Consultant of Education Quality International and AUN-QA Expert was invited as a keynote speaker sharing the topic "Connecting the Body, Mind, Heart and Soul in Social Emotional Learning" on 10 October 2020. His topic covered 3 key areas:
- Why social emotional learning?
- Social emotional learning as the heart of education
- Connecting the body, mind, heart and soul through the design of experiential learning
The webinar was attended by more than a thousand participants inside and outside the Philippines.
