A 2-day workshop on "Designing, Implementing and Evaluating OBE Framework" was organised by Financial Accreditation Agency (FAA) Malaysia on 12 and 13 November 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The workshop was designed and facilitated by Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, Founder & Principal Consultant, Education Quality International (eqi) and AUN-QA Expert. The learning outcomes of the workshop are:
- Distinguish the differences between principles-based and rules-based assessment
- Differentiate OBE, AUN-QA, FQF, MQA and AACSB frameworks used for programme design and assessment
- Apply the OBE principles in designing, implementing and evaluating study programmes
- Apply the principle of constructive alignment of stakeholders’ needs, curriculum, learning outcomes, teaching and learning, and student assessment in evaluating study programmes
- Evaluate the level of OBE implementation
The workshop was attended by 17 participants from FAA Malaysia.
