The 1st AUN-QA Assessors Calibration Workshop was organised by AUN-QA Network and hosted by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) from 13 to 15 August 2019, Vietnam. The 21/2-day workshop was held for the AUN-QA assessors in Vietnam and invited guests from the Vietnam Education Quality Management Agency (VQA) and Centre for Educational Accreditation, VNU-HN.
The expected learning outcomes of the workshop are:
- Distinguish the differences between principles-based and rules-based assessment
- Differentiate OBE, AUN-QA and other quality assurance frameworks used for programme design and assessment
- Assess study programme based on the AUN-QA and OBE integrated framework
- Evaluate the level of OBE implementation
- Rate AUN-QA criteria and programme
- Apply effective interview techniques for principles-based AUN-QA programme assessment
The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, AUN-QA expert (Singapore).
