The 115th AUN-QA Programme Assessment at Can Tho University was held from 22 to 24 May 2018 in Vietnam. Two study programmes were assessed by AUN-QA Network and the assessment of the Bachelor of International Business at the College of Economics was led by Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin (AUN-QA Expert, Singapore) with Dr. Ornlatcha Sivarak from Mahidol University, Thailand.

6th AUN-QA Institutional Assessment at University of Malaya
The 6th AUN-QA institutional assessment was carried out at the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia from 7 to 12 May 2018. The assessment was led by Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, AUN-QA expert covering strategic, systemic and functional QA, and results.

112th AUN-QA Programme Assessment at University of Santo Tomas
The 112th AUN-QA Programme Assessment at University of Santo Tomas, the Philippines was held from 23 to 25 April 2018 in Manila, the Philippines. Four study programmes were assessed by AUN-QA Network and the assessment of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing was led by Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin (AUN-QA Expert, Singapore) with Mrs Siriluck Kiewkong from Mahidol University, Thailand. Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin was also the Chief Assessor for the 112th AUN-QA Programme Assessment.
7th Assessor Training Workshop for AUN-QA Programme Assessment
The 7th Assessor Training Workshop for AUN-QA Programme Assessment was jointly organised by AUN-QA Network and University of Santo Tomas, Manila from 19 to 25 April 2018 in Manila, the Philippines. The workshop was uniquely designed to give a "hyper-real" experience by incorporating both "simulated assessment environment" in the classroom and "live assessment" observation of the 112th AUN-QA Programme Assessment at the University of Santo Tomas.
The workshop aims to equip participants with the essential competences to carry out an AUN-QA programme assessment. The workshop aims to achieve the following learning outcomes:
- Demonstrate the competences to carry out AUN-QA programme assessment
- Relate the quality assurance of higher education in key ASEAN member states to AUN-QA programme assessment
- Formulate questions for AUN-QA programme assessment
- Apply the PDCA approach in AUN-QA programme assessment
- Prepare an AUN-QA programme assessment
- Conduct a desktop assessment for a programme;
- Conduct a site assessment including stakeholders’ interviews, site tour and documentation review; and
- Write assessment feedback, presentation and report
The workshop was attended by 32 participants from universities in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, AUN-QA Expert together with Dr. Tan Kay Chuan from the National University of Singapore.
