Education 4.0 - The 4Cs Framework to Transform HEI into an Innovation Producing Ecosystem

Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, Principal Consultant of Education Quality International was invited by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) to give a presentation on "Education 4.0 - The 4Cs Framework to Transform Higher Education Institution into an Innovation Producing Ecosystem" on 21 July 2017.

The half-day conference was organised into two sessions. The first session covered the development and challenges of Industry 4.0 and the characteristics of Education 4.0. The second session discussed the 4Cs Framework using the case of Singapore and the National University of Singapore (NUS).




International Conference on University 4.0

The "International Conference on University 4.0 -  A Framework for 21st Century Higher Education" was organised and hosted by Nguyen Tat Thant University on 20 and 21 July 2017. International speakers from Asia, Europe and USA were invited to share their research and experience in Industry 4.0. Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, Principal Consultant of Education Quality International and AUN-QA Expert was invited as a guest to the conference. 9th AUN Rectors' Meeting 2017

The 9th AUN Rectors' Meeting was hosted by Vietnam National University-Hanoi and AUN on 18 and 19 July 2017 at Nha Trang Resort, Viet Nam.

Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, AUN-QA Expert was invited as one of the panel members of the open forum to discuss the topic "Economic Growth and Graduate Employability: The Challenges in Meeting the Regional Quality Standard of AUN". The other panel members were Prof. Dr. Imran Ho Abdullah, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, University Kebangsaan Malaysia; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Vice President, Vietnam National University Hanoi; Dr. Tran Phuong Lan, VIN Group; and Prof. Ong Siow Heng, Dean of International Affairs, Singapore Management University. The forum was moderated by Dr. Choltis Dhirathiti, AUN Executive Director. 

The discussion raised the challenges faced by universities in the era of disruptive technologies and how they can prepare themselves and their graduates for the future of work.

The 14th Happiness DNA Public Workshop

The 14th Happiness DNA public workshop was held on 13 & 14 July 2017. The workshop was facilitated by Chief Happiness Coach, Mr Johnson Ong Chee Bin of Living Better in collaboration with ASK Training Pte Ltd.


The 2-day workshop is based on the principles of positive psychology, and physical, mental and emotional therapies and techniques. It is taught in a unique change methodology where participants first determine the level of their happiness in the eight dimensions of the happiness DNA. How to nurture and sustain the eight dimensions of the happiness DNA is then introduced. The workshop concluded with an action plan to address the gaps in the happiness DNA.
