ASEAN-QA Squared Project@Indonesia

The 2nd training workshop under the ASEAN-QA Squared Project was held at Politeknik Negeri Bandung, Indonesia from 13 to 14 September 2016. The 2-day workshop titled "Workshop on Capacity Enhancement in Developing Self-Assessment Report" was hosted and organised by Dr. Ir. Paula Santi Rudati, Politeknik Negeri Bandung, a participant of ASEAN-QA Phase 2 and ASEAN-QA Squared Workshop.

The workshop gave the participants an international perspective of quality assurance as well as the national quality assurance framework in Indonesia. Guest speakers were invited and they include Prof. Aris Junaidi (Directorate of Quality Assurance and Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs), Ir. Dwiwahju Sasongko (BAN-PT), Dr. Pepen Arifin (ITB), Prof. Sunardhi Widyaputra (Universitas Padjadjaran), Mr. Frank Niedermeier (University of Potsdam) and Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, AUN-QA Expert (AUN-QA Network). 

The workshop was attended by about 30 participants from POLBAN and other polytechnics in Indonesia.

ASEAN-QA Squared Project@Myanmar

The 1st training workshop under the ASEAN-QA Squared Project was held at Technological University (HmawBi), Myanmar. The 3-day workshop was facilitated by Dr. Nilar Toe from Myanmar Maritime University and hosted by Technological University (HmawBi) from 7 to 9 September 2016. 

The workshop covered the PDCA Approach to SAR Development based on the AUN-QA at Programme Level. It was attended by 30 participants from the university and 4 observers from the alumni of the ASEAN-QA Squared Project. Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, AUN-QA Expert and Mr. Frank Niedermeier from Potsdam University served as peer observers at the workshop to provide feedback and support.
