The National Rectors Conference was hosted by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education Myanmar from 28 to 29 May 2016. The conference was attended by about 600 rectors and key personnel from 158 universities and ministries. Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, AUN-QA expert was invited by the Director General of the Department of Higher Education to deliver a presentation on QA in higher education and factors affecting IQA in universities.

The Happiness DNA Seminar 2016
The Happiness DNA Seminar was hosted by ASK Training Pte Ltd and held on 27 May 2016 from 9.30am to 12.30pm in Singapore at Furama City Centre Hotel. The seminar was led and facilitated by Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, Chief Happiness Coach of Living Better. The seminar was attended by more than 160 participants from various government ministries and statutory boards in Singapore. The key takeaways from the seminar include applying the Happiness DNA to cultivate and sustain happiness, qigong, and laugher yoga.

The Leadership and Best Practices Forum 2016 was hosted by the Vocational and University Leadership Innovation Institute (VULII) from 18 to 20 May 2016 in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam. Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, AUN-QA Expert (Singapore) was invited to deliver at the "Distinguished Keynote Session: AUN-QA Assessment - from Programme to Institutional Level" on 18 May 2016. The presentation covers AUN-QA Model, Analysis of AUN-QA Programme Assessment, Closing the Gaps in Programme QA and Institutional QA. The forum was attended by more than 100 participants from various educational institutions in Viet Nam and the United States.

Quality and Quality Management Workshop
The 1st Quality and Quality Management Workshop for key management staff of universities, polytechnics and colleges in Viet Nam was organised by the Training Centre for Advanced Management (TCAM), VNU-Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam from 9 to 11 May 2016. The 3-day workshop was jointly facilitated by Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, AUN-QA Expert and Dr. Le Quang Minh, Director of TCAM. The workshop was attended by 27 management staff members from 13 universities, polytechnics and colleges.
The objective of the 3-day workshop is to raise the awareness of quality and quality management of key management staff of universities, polytechnics and colleges in Viet Nam. The learning outcomes of the workshop are:

EU-SHARE Working Group Meeting on Institutional QA
The EU-SHARE Working Group Meeting on Institutional QA was held on 2 and 3 May 2013 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The meeting was hosted by AQAN and Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, AUN-QA expert represented AUN at the meeting. The meeting discussed the drafting of the guidelines for institutional QA assessment and assessment criteria to meet the Internal Quality Assurance under the AQAF (Principle 3 - IQA). Other issues on capacity building and call for applications were also discussed.
